Stewards of God's Amazing Grace

I started my blog on Sunday, January 3 and I chose the title "Steward of the King." Obviously, Christ is the King and the Bible commands us to be stewards of the gifts that He has so graciously given to us.

According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary the definition of Stewardship is- "the conducting, supervising, or managing of something, especially: the careful and responsible management of something entrusted to one's care."

I was surprised and EXCITED to find out in our Sunday morning church service (Jan. 10) at Hampton Park that our church theme for this year (2010) is: "Stewards of God's Amazing Grace!" I couldn't believe it! God must really be wanting to teach me this year about how to be a steward. Every Sunday my pastor will preach about being a steward of something God has given us! I'm so excited. We've already heard two sermons on stewardship and I can't WAIT for church tomorrow to hear the third!
